Release is a monthly class - FREE for all members.
This months Release class is a very special FREE event for all - Right before our membership doors open again for the first time in 2024.
This class will be a full TRE session, as so hotly requested!
Many of the participants of our Soma & Soul programme let us know they responded particularly well to the somatic shaking practice.
TRE or Tension and Trauma Release Exercises are a series of exercises that allow the body to trigger a natural shaking or tremor mechanism within the body's muscles.
This allows the body to discharge stuck and stagnant trauma/stress and threat response energy trapped in the body.
Shaking is a powerful and instinctual natrual resourcing tool that we often shut down and supress. It isn't a part of the trauma or stress iteslf, but rather a part of the bodies drive to releasing, resourcing and discharging the stress.
We can welcome and use this shaking through TRE - and in this special free session I will lead you through psychoeducation about stress and trauma in the body before guiding you through a full TRE session.

Release offers a blend of cognitive and somatic tools and practices to rewire your brain and reset your nervous system
Cognitive practices will...
- Help you learn new ways of thinking about yourself, your life and your relationships
- Release limiting beliefs
- Assist you to let go of unhelpful thinking patterns, fears and limitations
Somatic practices will...
- Process fear, grief, trauma, anxiety, depression and stress
- Teach you how to use gentle movement & grounding practices to regulate out of sympathetic nervous system activation or dorsal vagal shut down
- Activate your vagus nerve to find calm, balance, compassion & safety in your body
- Break the cycle of reflexive patterns of fear, tension, people pleasing and depression
Release will run once per month (at this stage) for roughly 45-60 minutes of guided practice.
