SELF Sabotage

Have you ever felt like the greatest barrier to your growth and success is you?

Many of us develop this protection part as a way to stay small and stay safe. Then it morphs into something that feels outside of our control.

If you struggle to stick to new habits and to let go of old unhelpful ones then lets break that glass ceiling together to unlock your limitless potential!


Sometimes you get stuck in the please and appease trap because of past trauma, relationships that left you feeling unheard, unseen, unimportant and neglected. 

A life of people pleasing means poor boundaries, always putting others needs first and loosing connection with your own wants, needs and desires.


All of this leads to resentment, low self-trust and burnout.

It's time to trust & connect with YOU. 

This week we are tackling anxiety and worry. We're going to be learning all about our body and brains responses, take a look at how to manage worries and learn all about core limiting beliefs and unhelpful thinking styles. Then, we have a powerful exercise to reflect on the healthy vs unhealthy coping strategies in your life right now - trust me, this one is a game changer.

Some of us get stuck in this trap of mistrusting ourselves and looking to others for validation, advice and approval. 

We let the judgement and thoughts of others define who we are and how we act or we find ourselves constantly trying to measure up to others and falling short.

Perfectionism & procrastination

Perfectionism can come from a place of fear and seeking control. We fear the discomfort that comes from our perceived inadequacy or failure. We are trying to avoid blame, shame, pain, judgement, vulnerability...

Procrastination isn't about being lazy. It is often routed in overwhelm, anxiety, fear and feeling you don't have the resources to cope.

Q: What happens if I can't make one or all of the live sessions?

A: No problem! All of the sessions are recorded and you are sent a link for the replay right after each live. You can watch or re-watch the video at a time that suits you. You'll have permanent access to the recordings so you can come back to the learning anytime you need.

Q: I'm new to personal development work; will I be okay?

A: Yes absolutely! This programme caters to everyone, at every level of your journey.

Q: What days/times are the meetings?

A: We meet Sundays at 9am NZ time. This is usually Saturday afternoon or evening if you are in America or the UK - pop the NZ time into a time zone converter to see what time it falls for you.

Q: Can I join from anywhere in the world?

A: Yes! Absolutely. We have people from Australia to Poland, NZ to America, Ireland to Canada in every group. If the time zone does't work for you, just catch up on the replay.

Q: Do I have to share in the group?

A: It's up to you how much/if you share in the wider group. My experience with group work as a counsellor is that, although it may feel a little scary at first, usually you will get an immense amount out of sharing yourself and listening to others. Connecting with others in the group is a powerful, validating and affirming experience where we empower each other. 

It's also okay if you want to sit back and soak things up without talking.

Think of the group as a safe container for you to experiment and gain confidence in the context of loving and supportive likeminded humans.

Q: Do you have a payment plan?

A: Yes - My website offers After Pay so you can pay Lightbulb Moments off over several weeks :)

Q: Do I get 1:1 support?

A: Yes and no - During every call all members can ask questions and participate freely. I offer "hot seat" coaching throughout each session, where you can chat over your challenges and triumphs and ask questions in the context of our supportive group.

You are more than welcome to email me any time throughout the programme, I respond with individual advice where appropriate otherwise I will address your questions in the live group in the following weeks session for the benefit of the wider group. I can do this anonymously.

A: We meet for between 1 hour and 1 hour 20 (roughly) each week.
