Release is a monthly class - FREE for all members.

This months Release class is an experiential masterclass on INTEROCEPTION.

You'll learn about this often forgotten 8th sense of the body.

Interoception is your ability to read & interpret the inner sensations and signals your body sends to you. It's like an internal language of sensation that sends signals as to the state of your nervous system and other needs, like thirst, hunger, temperature and even safety.

Many people find they have lost touch with this sense, and often don't have a sense of embodiment.

Others may have faulty interopception; they are hypervigiant and misread signals - misfiring the threat response and keeping them caught in cycles of pain, anixety & tension.

In this Release class you will experience a range of practices and drills to train and connect to your interoceptive sense.

You'll explore:

✨ How to determine if your interoception is 'faulty'

✨ Simple steps to begin to retrain your interocetion

✨ A interoception scan to connect you with individual body zones

✨ How you can use interoception to connect to your intuition

✨ The difference between intuition and anxiety

✨ A dual awarness practice to teach you how to remain embodied while also being present in your life - this helps with dissociation 

✨ How to test different nervous system inputs - Test a range of resources & tools to regulate your nervous system and learn how to discern the ones that feel good for you

✨ How past fear or trauma show up in your postural blueprint & how to read and adjust this

This Release class will be an experiential & guided journey into the 8th sense of the body.

Bring along a pen & paper

Wear comfy clothes as there will be some breath & movement practice

Sink into yin poses, breath work & guided meditation on this nourishing somatic journey.

Release offers a blend of cognitive and somatic tools and practices to rewire your brain and reset your nervous system

Cognitive practices will...

  • Help you learn new ways of thinking about yourself, your life and your relationships
  • Release limiting beliefs
  • Assist you to let go of unhelpful thinking patterns, fears and limitations

Somatic practices will...

  • Process fear, grief, trauma, anxiety, depression and stress
  • Teach you how to use gentle movement & grounding practices to regulate out of sympathetic nervous system activation or dorsal vagal shut down
  • Activate your vagus nerve to find calm, balance, compassion & safety in your body
  • Break the cycle of reflexive patterns of fear, tension, people pleasing and depression

Release will run once per month (at this stage) for roughly 45-60 minutes of guided practice.
