So, you took our quiz and found out that your trauma & threat response is Flight šš½āāļø
(Didn't take the quiz? šš¼)
The flight response kicks in when your sympathetic nervous systemĀ shifts into overdrive. Itās your bodyās instinct to escape when faced with perceived danger.
Many people, however, can get stuckĀ in this response, making it hard to truly relax and feel safe.
Often we become trapped in a loop - waking anxious, thinking "No! Not this again, I'm so sick of this. I can't do another day like this!", fighting the feelings, feeling crushing by a sense of rushing or danger, not being able to wind down and not sleeping well... & the cycle repeating over and over.
Hereās how the Flight ResponseĀ might show up in your life:
Struggling to wind down because your mind is always spinning with thoughts, worries, and āwhat-ifs.ā š§ š
Feeling ātired but wiredāālike youāre restless, fidgety, or constantly on the go. (Does meditation feel impossible? Thatās flight in action.)
Physical tension building in your jaw, shoulders, back, hips, or chest.
Feeling hyper-alert to every little body sensation, leading to health anxiety, overthinking, and being stuck in worry loops.
Being constantly on edge, jumpy, and easily startled.
Self-soothing behaviours like emotional eating, skin picking etc that you wish you could stop
Sound familiar?
What Youāve Likely Tried (That Isnāt Helping)
Youāve probably tried things like:
ā Trying to force yourself to meditate (but feeling more anxious than calm).
ā Powering through your to-do list, thinking productivity will quiet your anxiety.
ā Ignoring the physical signs of stress, hoping theyāll pass on their own.
But hereās the truth: what might feel like solutions could actually be fueling your anxiety. š¬
Hereās What Actually Works
You can learn to safely feel, express, and processĀ that anxious energy, rewiring your nervous system so you can finally feel calm, connected, and grounded.Ā
You're probably missing some KEY pieces to the puzzle here in overcoming anxiety - and they relate to resistance, not knowing how to feel safe in your body (or not even working with your body at all) & patterns of feeding anxiety with trying to control, find certainty & comfort....
How do I know?
Because before I started using the methods I developed (after years of trying CBT techniques and failing) - I too experienced YEARS of anxiety. We're talking social anxiety (i'm an HSP and an introvert at heart), a constant feeling of unease in my body & panic attacks.

Imagine:
šš¼ Fully relaxing without your mind racing to the next worry.
šš¼ Knowing what calm feels like in your body and how to access it.
šš¼ No longer being hijacked by panic or intrusive thoughts.
Sounds life-changing, right? āØ
